In late fall of 2009, my wife and I became executors of a family estate
located outside Ellensburg, due to a death in the family. We live in central
Idaho about six hours away. This, not being our first time at the rodeo, we
knew that time spent finding the "right" real estate agent, would be time
well spent. To our surprise, the first three folks we asked, all of which
were run of the mill, average, unassociated, everyday type working people,
came up with the same name. My wife and I sort of looked at each other and
said, I guess that answers that question. After meeting Art for the first
time we felt we were in the best of hands. For more than a year, before we
had ever signed paper, Art continued to offer expert advice and maintain a
positive outlook toward our unusual real estate needs. Most of this advice
concerned bringing the property up to a sellable/loanable condition as the
property had lapsed through the last few years of our uncle's life. All of
Art's input was right on, and of course when we were able to complete the
work we signed with Art and he found us a buyer at the
full asking price before the ink was dry. We compliment Art mostly for his
positive attitude during a difficult time for selling real estate. Aside
from that and his wonderful and friendly manner, Art impressed us with his
ability to dot all the I's and cross all the T's, which to us made a big job
seem easy. We well know it wasn't, but we did like Art told us to, "don't
worry, we're going to sell this place". We didn't, and we did.
